If you work in a profession that touches the lives of the elderly, disabled or chronically-ill, educational programs sponsored by Elder Law Practice of Timothy L. Takacs will enhance your ability to meet the needs of these clients and their families.

Intentional Harms Committed Against the Elderly: A Study in Ethics

Elder Law Practice of Timothy L. Takacs invites you to this special ethics conference from 8 a.m. - 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Second Harvest Food Bank in Nashville, TN.

Elderly clients may be vulnerable to many forms of abuse. Intentional harms are treated differently than accidental harms. Identifying, intervening and prosecuting acts of intentional harms carry its own set of challenges and ethical dilemmas. This half-day conference will sharpen your skills in translating and acting on experiences that relate to intentional harms.

Includes:

  • Workbook and attendance certificate
  • Continental breakfast
  • 3.0 CEUS in Ethics for Social Workers
